One of our priorities as a church is serving individuals and families in our surrounding community.
We want to do everything we can to represent Christ’s love and compassion in a tangible way as we learn about the needs around us. Here are a few ways we partner with our community.
Volunteer with Us
Want to get involved serving in our community, but don’t know where to start? Consider volunteering with us! Our Woodstock serve team is a group of people who serve on an as-needed basis in our various ministries. To get involved, fill out the form below and a team member will follow up with you!
Here are a few ways you can get involved:
Church on the Street
Ministering to the 30,000 homeless men, women, and children living on the streets or in temporary shelters, sharing encouragement, prayer, and the gospel.
Foster Care
Providing caring, Christian homes for every foster child in our community.
Sports Ministry
Strengthening spiritual relationships with Jesus through sports, recreation, and wellness activities.
Care Ministry
Serve our local community at our Food Pantry and Thrift Store.
Military Ministry
Sharing the love of God to our veterans, active duty military and their families.
Citizenship Class
Help provide citizenship classes to prepare individuals for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Citizenship interviews.
English Class (ESL)
Help people learn or improve their English skills.
Refugee Ministry
Serve men, women, and children who have emigrated from the United States as refugees, providing survival help as well as day-to-day support.
Race of Life
Race of Life is a ministry for people attending races at Dixie Speedway in partnership with First Baptist Church of Woodstock.
Disaster Relief
Impacting the world for Jesus Christ by meeting the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of people when disaster strikes.
International Students
The world is coming to Woodstock! Thousands of students from all over the world come to Atlanta every year to study. You don’t have to go on a trip to impact another country or culture with God’s Word.
