We are glad to offer our exercise rooms to those who are looking for a place to exercise and workout. Please come by the Wellness & Recreation office before using the equipment to complete and sign a user agreement form.

We encourage those who are members of a local gym to be involved, build relationships and share Chrsit with those in the gym. The Christian life is to be lived out in the midst of the community doing life with one another.

Stretch and Strengthen Class

This is a class that focuses on flexibility and functional exercises for anyone 50 and older. We work on balance and incorporate yoga exercises. We also use exercise bands for resistance exercises, working on all muscle groups of the body even minor muscle groups.

Leo Hilton is the instructor, and he has been training for 14 years. He has specialized in working with people that have various pain issues from lower back, to knees and shoulders. If you have questions, feel free to contact him.

Got Weight?

Michele Helms will be teaching a class designed for those who have 30 or more pounds to lose. She has battled weight most of her life and knows those struggles well. Join her Monday & Thursday 9:15-10:15am in Room B110 each week for encouragement and exercise. For more information email michelehelms7@gmail.com.

Blood Drive

We have partnered with the American Red Cross to host two blood drives each year. Pastor always challenges us that we are never more like Christ than when we are giving. Don’t miss out on helping save lives through giving blood.

Our next blood drive is coming up on February 3rd during the morning worship hours. Please be in prayer for how you can serve our community in this area. More information will be coming soon!

Walking Path
  • 1 mile, 1.25 mile, and 1.5 mile loop around the campus
  • The path begins at Kidzstock and is clearly marked with signs that lead the way using arrows and relevant scripture to meditate on.
  • Opportunity for students to receive experience and learn aspects of wellness and recreation ministry within a church. Interns will enhance their skill by assisting in: facility supervision, equipment maintenance, recreation league season from promotion to completion, volunteer recruitment, leadership training and development, staff health promotion, written and verbal communication skills, coordination of available community resources.
